Mercedes-Benz India opened bookings on 5 October ahead of a 4 November launch. The GLC 400 4MATIC is assembled in Pune with a 94 kWh battery, about 715 km of WLTP range and 330 kW DC fast charging; it replaces the discontinued EQE SUV.

Volvo's electric sedan on the 800V SPA2 platform was expected alongside the EX90 on 12 October, but only the EX90 launched (₹1.26 crore); Volvo gave no new date for the ES90. CarWale now lists it as a tentative November launch.

Partly overtaken by events: the headline change everyone expected — a 6-speed torque-converter automatic replacing the old 4-speed — is already on sale, alongside a new Alpha+ trim, and we have updated the XL6's prices accordingly. No facelift launch event could be confirmed this week; the styling refresh itself is still only reported for late 2026.

Honda's first India-built EV, previewed by the 0 Alpha concept and to be made at Tapukara, Rajasthan. Honda officials have said it goes on sale before the end of FY2026-27; it targets the Tata Nexon EV, Sierra EV and Mahindra BE 6.

JSW Motors' first SUV, based on the Jetour T2: 1.5 turbo-petrol plug-in hybrid with two motors (~360 hp combined) and an 18.4 kWh battery. JSW has confirmed a 4 December 2026 debut; pricing is expected around ₹30–50 lakh and sales start later.

Mid-life facelift with revised bumpers and lights and Level-2 ADAS expected; Maruti's in-house 1.2 strong hybrid (claimed ~35 kmpl) is now reported for 2027 rather than alongside the facelift. No official date — Carlelo and IndiaCarNews point to late 2026 or early 2027 for the petrol car.

Codenamed HE1i, Hyundai's first made-in-India mass-market EV sits on the E-GMP(K) platform with Svolt cells initially and targets the Tata Nexon EV and Punch EV. Autocar India (17 Oct) says it is slated for January 2027 — pulled in from the earlier Q4 FY27 guidance.
