CarSahiHai (“the car is right”) exists because buying a car in India means decoding a quote nobody explains. The ex-showroom price in the ad, the on-road price in the showroom, and the final invoice are three different numbers — and the gaps hide road tax slabs, insurance bundles, TCS and charges that most buyers never see itemised.
We show the full math. Every one of the 83cars on this site has variant-wise prices and a city-wise on-road breakup — road tax percentage, insurance estimate, TCS, charges — for 20 Indian cities, so you can verify a dealer's quote line by line. How we compute it is documented openly on our methodology page.
What we promise
- No lead selling. We never ask for your phone number and never forward your details to dealers. Nobody will call you because you used this site.
- Data over opinions. Our comparisons and buying lists are generated from variant-level specifications and prices. Where we editorialise — in our guides — the numbers are shown, not just the conclusions.
- Honest about limitations. Prices are indicative ex-showroom figures (updated July 2026) and on-road figures are estimates. Dealer quotes vary. When we're unsure, we say so.
How the site is kept current
Prices are reviewed against manufacturer announcements and revisions — GST rate changes, model-year hikes and new variant launches — and the “updated” stamp on every page tells you when the data was last refreshed.
