Audi Q3 in short

The third-generation Audi Q3 launched in India on 16 October 2026 at an introductory ₹51.99 lakh for the Nova trim and ₹55.99 lakh for the Zenith, ex-showroom. Both run the same 204 PS 2.0L TFSI petrol with a 7-speed S tronic dual-clutch gearbox and quattro all-wheel drive, and the car is assembled locally at Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. It replaces the 2022 second-generation Q3 (₹43.67–53.00 lakh), which is now discontinued, and rivals the BMW X1 and Mercedes-Benz GLA.

BMW X1 in short

The X1 is BMW's entry SUV in India, and since August 2026 it comes two ways: the India-exclusive long-wheelbase sDrive18Li petrol at ₹49.90 lakh with a huge 540-litre boot, and the standard-body sDrive18d diesel at ₹52.90 lakh. The LWB petrol makes the X1 the only compact luxury SUV with a stretched wheelbase in India. It fights the Mercedes-Benz GLA and Audi Q3, both of which it now undercuts at entry.

MINI Countryman in short

The new-generation (U25) Countryman is MINI's five-seat SUV and, from 2026, locally assembled in India as a CKD — which is how the Countryman C Favoured lands at ₹47.50 lakh with a 156 PS 1.5L turbo-petrol. At the other end sits the ₹66.15 lakh JCW Countryman ALL4: a 300 hp 2.0L turbo with all-wheel drive, the fastest MINI on sale in India. It is the MINI you buy when the family vetoes the hatch, against the BMW X1 and Mercedes GLA.
